Our rights to Information technology

Internet is another world in which people who utilize it are also citizen.  As an online society founded on individual freedom, all internet users have an inherent right to seek "liberty and the pursuit of happiness," as long as such pursuit does not infringe on the rights of others. So what are the rights we have when we are surfing to the world of internet?.

Based on what I've learned, Digital rights, which are closely related to freedom of speech and privacy, are those that allow people to access, utilize, produce, and publish digital material, and also computers, other digital equipment, and network technology. Digital technologies are changing the way fundamental rights like freedom of expression and access to information are exercised, protected, and infringed, as well as contributing to the establishment of new rights. and because of this, the law is adjusting and adapting to this new period.

So what are the rights you have?  The first thing that comes to my mind is you have the right to privacy for your life and you families life, which includes, but is not limited to, personal data protection and secrecy. Only with your informed consent may personal data be used or shared to other parties. We also have the right to use and access digital content. The ability to generate and distribute digital material. The right to privacy in online communities. But be careful to copyright items on the internet, always remember, once you see it online doesn't mean it can be yours. Every items in the internet have a rightful owners. You might be involved in a crime without even realizing it, therefore always "be mindful".
